Rennet - Calf
Animal rennet is extracted from the calf and is available in this liquid form at 145IMCU/ml.
This rennet is suitable for ALL cheese types and is added to the milk to form a curd.
This rennet is sourced from Europe and used by the world's best cheese makers.
- GM Free (free from genetically modified material).
- Bottle comes with handy dropper for accurate dosage.
- Available in variety of sizes -50ml, 100ml, 500ml, 1L & 5L.
Usage rates: 1ml - 2ml per 5 Litres. Please note usage rates are dependent on cheese type, milk used, temperature of milk, pH, type of culture used in conjunction with the rennet and other factors.
- Vegetarian rennet also available.
- For best results use in conjunction with our Cheese and Yogurt Making cultures.

As a Devonian family brought up on junket, we have been missing our favourite dessert for several years due to the supply of rennet drying up, no longer being stocked by dairies and supermarkets like waitrose. It has been wonderful for us to enjoy proper delicious junket again, so thank you so much for supplying it to me.
