Sodium Hydroxide food grade is the correct strength for use in titration of certain cheeses such as Cheshire, Cheddar, Lancashire & Caerphilly. It is used in conjunction with phenolphthalein to test for titratable acidy level in the cheese.
Heavy duty bottles of N/9 sodium hydroxide - Can also be used as a refill for the Acidometer Kit.
Available in 500ml, 1L and 5L sizes.
Various sizes of phenolphthalein (indicator) are also available.
