Each sachet of MA4001 25DCU inoculates up to 500 litres of fresh milk. It is essentially for the manufacture of soft cheeses and is particularly suited to the production of Feta.

Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis biovar. diacetylactis
Streptococcus thermophilus
Carrier: Sucrose Maltodextrins

Storage: Store at ≤+4°C. 

The use of starter rotation is crucial for the control of phages and it is advisable to alternate between this culture and MA4002 when making cheese on a regular basis.

Excellent culture

Excellent culture, I used this for a soft blue cheese which will get made again - and again - and again!!!

Cheese Culture MA4001

I used this culture to make Feta. After one week the cheese tasted fabulous and the next week it tasted even better.
I will makers ng this on a more regular basis as the family are finishing it off before it matures to the third week. 😍
