Much more character and flavour than any shop bought yoghurt

Much more character and flavour than any shop bought yoghurt. Mixed with home made kefir and added to overnight soaked oats, frozen fruit, nuts and seeds , it's a great start to the day !

Really love the yogurt that this culture produces

Really love the yogurt that this culture produces. More acidity than any yogurt from a mass producer. More like the first yogurt I ate 60 years ago.
I reckon most of the lactose fermented out, which is brilliant if you have lactose intolerance.
Making it, I heated whole milk to 90° C and held that temp.for 5 mins.
I fermented at 42° for 6 hours, then 38° for another15 hours.
Strained for about 6 hours, so it's quite thick.
Ate it with granola and fruit.
Excellent
